Die Cutter Press Operator 1st Shift Monday-Friday
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Reads instructions from the job ticket and set up press based on instructions.
• Performs make ready and ensures the quality is at customer and Larkin expectations.
• Sets up plates, dies, and counter as required per the job instructions.
• Pre-set tooling for locking dies as well as stripping unit.
• Maintains quality control during the run and approves job to go to the next department.
• Keeps a close eye on waste as all product is customer supplied.
• Maintains the press logs and counts to ensure proper count on all jobs.
• Performs preventative maintenance daily, weekly, and monthly on press such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, cleaning and minor adjustments.
• Keep the department clean and well organized.
• Cross train on other equipment for coverage when needed during high workload.
• Input all times and counts into the computer and paperwork as required.
• Assist on equipment and in other areas.
• Performs other tasks as requested by supervisor or manager.
Job Requirements:
Excellent skills of reading and understanding written instructions, general math, clear handwriting. Continual walking, standing, bending, repetitive movements for extended periods of time. Pass required physical, background check, and drug test. Able to work overtime as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, fluent in English. Experienced in mechanical or print related field. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, able to lift and carry 50Lbs.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work directly with customers, sales, and production to ensure jobs are completed to customer specifications.
• Receives quotes, reviews for detail and accuracy, coordinates with estimating.
• Create production tickets using the estimate information from sales and/or the customer.
• Manage specific projects with customers, coordinates with production to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Monitor the quality and progress of assigned jobs to ensure that due dates are met.
• Communicate with customers, sales, and production team regarding scheduling and job questions.
• Provide feedback to customers and our team regarding issues that may affect the project, quality, and/or delivery.
• Perform quality checks and provide proofs or samples for customers.
• Prepare invoices for billing completed jobs.
• Work closely with sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts to ensure customer retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Manufacturing experience
• 3-5 years of work experience in a customer service environment
• Examples of taking initiative at previous roles
• Examples of MS Excel experience; Proficient in MS Office
• Willing to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
• Print Finishing experience with an understanding of printing processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to stand for 6-8 hours per day and check status of orders on the production floor
• Desire to learn, willing to be trained by our personnel
• Highly organized with attention to detail

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operate, set-up, maintain folding and gluing machines required to complete box and carton product per customer specifications.
• Installs the appropriate tools, swords, and folding devices to achieve the required folding and pre-break for the carton.
• Determines the proper placement of the glue system(s) to achieve the correct final setup and function.
• Adjusts controls to regulate placement and timing of electronic glue systems.
• Continually monitors the quality of your production while ensuring your feeder and packers are performing their tasks as required, read, comprehend and follow all specifications on job ticket.
• Match samples by reading job ticket specifications.
• Record production information such as the amount of time spent on specific tasks
• Open machines and remove/replace damaged products, using hand tools.
• Troubleshoot problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipment in running condition.
• Clean and maintain equipment as assigned by Supervisor.
• Performs hand stripping, blanking, folding, taping, boxing, collating, and other manual tasks.
• Runs strip taper, guillotine, punch press, auto blanker.
• Cleans and keeps work area neat and orderly.
• Tracks tasks, quantities and scrap.
• Accounts for all time on paperwork and computer.
• Performs other duties as requested.
Job Requirements: Excellent basic skills of reading and understanding written instruction, general math, clear hand writing. Hand and eye coordination. Continual standing, walking, bending, repetitive movements for extended periods of time. Pass required physical and drug test. Able to work overtime as necessary.
